Darley Moor Motor Cycle Road Racing Club Ltd Racing Membership 2013

Thank you for enquiring about Racing Membership of the Darley Moor Club in 2013.

The following notes will, I hope, help answer some of the questions you have about the Club. If you need any further information please give me a ring on 01246 866537 any evening before 10.00 pm.

Championship Classes 2013
1. Formula Darley for up to 400cc 4 stroke 4 cylinder, 600cc Four Stroke Single Cylinder, 650cc 4 stroke 2 cylinder and 250cc 2 stroke production based machines.
With separate awards for 125ccGP and Formula 125 Machines
2. Formula 600 for 351 to 600cc 4 stroke 4 cylinder and 675cc 4 stroke 3 cylinder production based machines. (ACU Formula 600 regulations apply)
3. Lightweight solos for over 120cc and not over 250cc two stroke and over 200cc and not over 400cc 4 stroke machines without restrictions. (No Formula 125)
4. Open solos 201 – 750cc 2 stroke and 600 – 1300cc 4 stroke machines (No Formula 600 machines but Open 600cc machines are eligible)
5a   Classic Machines up to 250cc and Classic Machines 251 to 350cc #
5b  Classic machines up to 500cc and Classic Machines 501 to 1300cc #
6a. Sound of Thunder 451 to 1300cc 4 stroke machines with 1, 2 or three cylinders
6b. Mini Sound of Thunder over 300cc and not over 650cc 4 stroke machines with 1, 2 or three cylinders
7a Any solo machine up to 500cc built or manufactured before 31st December 1998.
7b  Any solo machine over 501cc up to 1300cc built or manufactured before 31st December 1998.
8 Pre Injection 600 & Steel Framed 600’s To ACU Formula 600 regulations
9.  Peak Cup any solo machine up to 750cc two stroke or 1300cc four stroke.
10a Open sidecars for any sidecar to 1300cc four stroke and 750cc two stroke.
10b. Formula 600 Sidecars – complying with ACU Formula 600 specifications.
 

There will be a time permitting handicap race for 2013 Newcomers to Racing at all meetings except the Stars at Darley meeting.
The onus of eligibility rests with the rider.
 

Membership and Entry Fees 2013.
For 2013 everyone will pay a Membership Fee of £10.00. Entry Fees for 2013 will be £110.00 for the first Solo Class and £30.00 for additional classes, the newcomers handicap will cost £15.00. For Sidecars the Entry Fee will be £130.00. Entries received after the closing date will be surcharged £20.00. Please note that for on-line entries the closing date will be one week later than for normal postal entries. A non refundable deposit of £50.00 or the full Entry Fee must be enclosed with the Entry Form. Please note Cheques will NOT be accepted on Race Day
 

Any Entry received without any payment will be returned.

Practice and Races on Race Day.
Each class will receive a timed Practice session of ten minutes. Each class will have two races of six or eight laps. Some classes may be combined for either practice or races. Grid positions for both races will be based on the result of the timed practice.

REMEMBER – NO TRANSPONDER = NO TIMES = START FROM THE BACK OF THE GRID.

Championship points will be scored in both races and all rounds will count.
For the Stars at Darley meeting each class will have ONE race of 15 laps with double Championship Points.

The Club will have a limited number of Tranx 260 transponders to hire at each meeting. The cost of hiring a transponder will be £15.00 per meeting.

Noise Regulations.
Darley is extremely noise sensitive and any machine that fails the noise test will NOT be permitted to start the meeting. ACU noise regulations are 105 Dba with no dispensations.

2013 ACU Licence Applications.
PLEASE NOTE. For 2013 the ACU have introduced an on-line Licence Application Form. You must add your unique number to the form instead of getting a Club Official Signature. That Unique number for Darley Members is your Club Membership Number.
This Unique Number must also be inserted on any traditional paper application for your ACU Licence.

2013 Darley Regulations and Entry Forms
These will be sent out during the first two weeks of February and after that time will normally be sent with your Membership Card etc.

Please look after your Membership Pack as a replacement pack will be charged at £10.00.
